Puppy Love Goes to the Bone - Best Dog Story

Buddy owes her life to Hurley the Greyhound
This is definitely one of those feel good dog stories......
A pure breed English Staffordshire Terrier, six week old pup owes her life to a blood transfusion from a gentle Greyhound more than 15 times her size. Ms Sami Knoblock rushed her sick dog, Buddy to the Brinsmead Veterinary Surgery where Dr Max Fargher found a hookworm infestation that had caused a massive hemorrhage.
With Buddy at death's door, Dr Fargher raced home to get his trusty pooch Hurley, a male, six year old 34kg Greyhound. A life-saving blood transfusion was then performed by transferring a "drop" of Hurley's blood - 120ml - to Buddy.
Buddy is now in good spirits thanks for Hurley.
Ms Knoblick, who had only bought home Buddy five days earlier, said "Now Buddy is running around like nothing happened!".
