Boxer Puppy dressed up as fairy
Fairy Boxer Puppy Jessie
I only had my boxer puppy girl for about 4 months and the bond between us was instant and mutual. She is comical, silly, clownish and sometimes a little naughty but one look at her brown eyes and wiggly but and I would laugh and forget why I was upset.
It is the norm for me to take my Jessie almost everywhere I go, so when my sister and her 5 year old neice asked if I wanted to join them in town and watch the Halloween parade with them I quickly agreed. Of course Jessie was coming with me.
I had a few hours till the parade and I took the time to shop. Glad I did cause I found these strap on nylon neon purple fairy wings. Ah Jessie was gonna be a fairy as we watched the parade.
When at home and I had the wings on her and I swear, if a pup could give a look like, "yeah right-this ain't happening"; she did and wasn't to happy. This tough looking dog had purple, did I mention bright neon purple wings attached across her back. Well she got stubborn and wouldn't move. However I knew how to get her to go. I said, "wanna go for a ride". With one last dirty look at me she went bouncing out the door, flew over steps and ran to my car. In her excitement she forgot the wings were on and they where wisping in the air as she ran.
Until I parked and started our treck to meet my sister, well the dirty looks were back cause people where laughing and pointing and just had to come see the tough Boxer fairy. Those wings stayed on til we returned home and I took them off, laid them on our desk, snuggled down with my fairy boxer who stopped with the mean looks and all was forgiven or so I thought.
In our usual hectic race to do what needs to be done in the morning before work, I forgot to put those wings away.
Jessie had the last laugh cause when I returned home later there was purple neon everywhere. She not only tore it up, she shredded it. OK girl no more costumes!
