Beagles make great family pets
I only wanted one Beagle. What happened?
After my beloved siberian husky passed away I never wanted to have another dog. I'm sure you understand the loss of your faithful companion is devastating.
After about a year of Dakota passing, my daughters started asking me for a puppy almost everyday. I honestly did not want a puppy remembering how everyone was going to help me and needless to say I did everything.
Knowing how much my kids wanted a puppy, and it was a few weeks around Christmas, I decided it was the right time. One of my daughter's friends breeded Beagle puppies every year around Christmas. Well the time came when the puppies were ready to be adopted so my two daughters and myself were just going to look at the puppies since I was not prepared to bring a puppy home at that time.
As we entered the home we heard the cutest sounds I've ever heard. The breeder decided to bring two brothers out at the same time so we could choose which puppy was going to be a part of our family. I will never forget the cutest puppies with the longest ears I've ever seen running and would not stop kissing us. Then there was a problem, both of my girls chose different puppies and to be honest I could not choose either. They were so cute but I knew we were getting only one puppy.
At that point I realized the breeder must of had a master plan. He suggested that we take both puppies home and by the next day the three of us would most definitely make a decision. To make a long story short its been 2 1/2 years and we have two of the sweetest loving Beagles in the world.
Actually as I'm typing this both of them are under the blankets with me snoring and I'm typing a blog about them.
Did you know the character of "Snoopy" featured in the Peanuts comic strip was a Beagle?
Known for its gentle and friendly nature, the Beagle is a popular family pet.
